satisfaction at the Malta Environment and Planning Authority’s approval of the home for the elderly in Mellieha.

In a statement, the committee said the former Health Minister under the Labour administration Michael Farrugia had said that the government had no plans to build a home for the elderly in Mellieha.

It is thanks to the Nationalist government, said the committee, that such a home is now going to be built.

The committee said this was one of a series of projects being undertaken in Mellieha by the Nationalist government.
