In line with its mission statement – which is to guide students in their moral, emotional, intellectual, social and aesthetic potential by providing an environment which is conducive to learning – the school intends to make this project a success story.

School head Raymond Portelli recently attended an initiation meeting in Rzeszow, Poland, where he met his counterparts. It was established that during the first year the general theme is To get acquainted to build up Europe.

This will be achieved by focusing on the immediate living environment of the student (the school, the city, the country) and sharing the data gathered between them.

During this process, each of the schools that are participating will compile a teaching file with all the material received and researched.

In addition, each school has agreed to develop a project in which each nation’s national anthem and flag is presented to the others.

By creating a photographic CD and sending it to the other participants, it is intended that the schools will foster a special relationship that will encourage a sense of one united Europe.

A follow-up to the meeting at Rzeszow will take place next April at the Antonio Bosio school. Meanwhile, the students are keen to become acquainted with their new friends from all over Europe. This they are doing by means of email.
