Speculation was rife in the past few days, even though Deputy Prime Minister Tonio Borg had earmarked Monday, 22 or Wednesday, 24 as possible dates, during a House Business meeting last Wednesday.
However, yesterday it was confirmed that the budget will be presented on 24 November. The confirmation, it seems, was pending the completion of a set of documents by the Finance Ministry.
