‘One Breakfast’ Lights up the day

Malta Independent Sunday, 14 November 2004, 00:00 Last update: about 14 years ago

The content is light, informative, entertaining and interesting.

News, traffic, weather and sports are regular items. Breaking news as well as anything of concern that happens on the roads is brought live.

One Breakfast brings the voices, images and stories of a variety of people who wake up very (VERY) early for work. Jackie and Martin interviewed a cross-section of people: a baker, fishermen, pilots, factory workers, cabin crew, a priest, grocers and many others at their place of work very early in the morning. We hear of what life is like so early, the nature of their work, the human element, the problems, advantages and sacrifices.

To send children off to school with a smile, Nanna Melita and Bil Peel will provide fun, games and humour.

“What’s on in Malta” with Simon, Lisa and Jonathan is a daily item on the show. The idea is to inform the public on what is going on entertainment wise every day, to urge people to attend the different cultural events which appeal to different people. Any group be putting up plays, concerts etc are welcome to pass on information on [email protected]

Gossips is also a regular item, with pictures and stories of the big stars, their stories, their secrets and their loves.

An other daily item is the ‘tip of the day,’ a one minuter where the viewers get suggestions on how to take care of their bodies, looks and health along with solutions for minor beauty crisis – such as puffy eyes early in the morning or how to cure a hangover!!

Thanks to RMF, the programme brings to its audience useful information on how to handle driving in wet weather, and how to be better drivers.

The humour element cannot be missing when combining the talents of Jackie and Martin who make an unusual but fun couple!
