Floriana and Hamrun Spartans have reached an agreement over the transfer of Under 21 international midfielder Mauro Brincat, who will join the Greens for good, following long talks over the past days.

Floriana had already agreed full terms with the player but there was still some uncertainty whether Brincat would be loaned out for the rest of the season. Brincat is expected to play against Birkirkara tomorrow.

In the meantime, Floriana have also loaned goalkeeper Matthew Camilleri to Sliema Wanderers till the end of season 2005/2006.

There were also talks from the Floriana camp about the possible exchange of Under 21 international Shaun Bajada with Marsaxlokk’s David Camilleri, upon Marsalokk’s request, but the move has not been confirmed as yet.
