Pieta Hotspurs and Malta striker Ivan Woods (pictured) will probably leave Pieta Hotspurs … in the next few hours.

Yesterday it was known that Marsaxlokk and Birkirkara had joined Sliema Wanderers in the chase to land the talented striker’s signature.

Woods is the league’s top scorer so far with 12 goals.

Pieta president Edward Schembri confirmed yesterday that agreements had been reached with all the three clubs, but added that the final decision depended entirely on the player. “I also do not exclude the possibility that Woods may remain a player of Pieta Hotspurs either. It would be no problem for us.”
