Following the extraordinary general meeting held on thursday by the Malta Olympic Committee and attended by representatives of 38 national federations who unanimously expressed their full support to the Executive Committee of the Malta Olympic Committee, it was decided that the Executive Committee convenes today at its headquarters.

The purpose of this meeting is to examine and assess the suggestions put forward by the federations to achieve a speedy solution leading to a long term strategy for the benefit of sports in general and each individual athlete in particular.
