It was a good game for La Salle who succeeded to get the three points without any real problems. Depiro, on the other hand, showed an improvement in their play. It was clearly noted that the winners were more experienced in the game and with their fast play and good use of the line player they could easily beat the 6/0 defence of Depiro. Depiro are on the good track but must be faster in attack.

There was practically no match between these two teams and Aloysians, as the final result shows, could easily win the game. D-Hs were outmatched from the start and they had no answer to Aloysians who were always in a comfortable lead during the whole game.

Though the final result shows it was a balanced affair between the two teams, the losers were only in the game for the first quarter. From then on La Salle, with their double pivot scheme working perfectly, began to take the lead. Depiro started losing ground and they seemed afraid to attack and were static in their positions.

In defence they lacked aggressiveness and for the La Salle players it seemed easy to penetrate. La Salle worked hard in defence and the amount of goals they scored was enough for them to win the game, as they forced Depiro to score much less than the average in a handball game.

Aloysians 27

It was a hard fought win for Aloysians, who are still leading in front in the classifications. This game shows the consistency of Aloysians who till now did not succeed to win any spectacular matches. Their play is slower than a couple of years ago, yet they are still challenging for honours.

Kavallieri played a very good game but this was not enough for them to avoid the loss. Kavallieri lost the game in the last minutes as they lacked concentration and maybe the younger Aloysians’ players had more energy left in their legs to edge the slower Kavallieri players.
