Malta Independent Sunday, 6 February 2005, 00:00 Last update: about 11 years ago

As part of the Carnival celebrations, Embassy Cinemas are once again organising a Costume Competition for children tomorrow at 10am.

This year’s event will consist of the screening of a new release movie – Racing Stripes, followed by a costume competition for the children. Apart from a panel of judges, all patrons will be asked to clap for each contestant, and participate in the actual judging itself.

Prizes for the winning contestants will include commemorative trophies, year supplies of goodies from Britz, Chupa Chups and Nesquik and free cinema tickets.

The activity will be open to both adults and children for a special price of just Lm1.50 for children and Lm2 for adults. This includes the film, participation in the competition and free popcorn for all children.
