The Singles section of this competition is gradually drawing to its close, as each division terminates its respective fixtures.

Maria Mizzi (B'Kara Medairco) won the Division 4 title, with six wins from the seven matches played. Mizzi ended her commitments on a high note winning her final two fixtures against Jahel Briffa and Jeanella Grech. The only defeat in her record was sustained against runner-up Mathilde Friggieri.

Second-placed Friggieri (also of B'Kara Medairco) was sharing the top spot in the provisional table until the final two fixtures. However, an unexpected drawn result against Sean Mifsud cost her two precious points. Friggieri ended her commitments with five wins and a draw from her seven matches. Her only defeat was against third-placed Yvette Zarb.

The final table reads as follows: Maria Mizzi 18 points; Mathilde Friggieri 16; Yvette Zarb 15; Jahel Briffa 12; Jeanella Grech 7; Stephanie Meilak and Sean Mifsud 5; Jan Cutajar 0.

The H2Only League will continue today with additional fixtures from Division 1 of the Singles League as well as from Divisions 2 and 3 of the Doubles League.
