Mosta AF Sign Studio CC will organise the next cycling races. It will take place tomorrow on the Mosta-Naxxar circuit.

The classes of riders will be Under 15 (three laps) Ladies (7), Masters (8), Juniors (9) and Elite (12) cyclists.

The mustering point is on Santa Margherita By-Pass near the ex-Civil Defence School and the first group will commence at 8am.

Last year the winners in this race were Under 15 – Christian Formosa, Ladies – Galley Michelle, Masters – Mark Bugeja, Juniors – Roderick Muscat and Elite – Dermot Galea.

Muscat has graduated to Elite class while Galea is unable to race due to an injury while training.

2005 is a year when there will be the GSSE in Andorra in May/June and Malta intends to field a cycling team again.

Meanwhile it is reported that there is a higher than usual demand by foreign teams to participate in the Tour of Malta scheduled for April.
