Ta’ Cikka Bar are the new Premier League leaders of the national pool championships organised by the Malta Pool Association.

By beating Cospicua Dynamos F.C 10-8 they moved to first place after Senglea Bocci Club A were halted in a 9-9 match by Billiards Hall A.

St. Michael’s Bar A registered their third consecutive win this time against Hibs Pavillion A with a 10-7 score. Jesmond Sporting Club went to Mango’s Social Club and came out victorious with a convincing 10-2 score.

In the last Premier game Paola Wolves had the better of Pandora Bar by 10-3.

In the Premier standings Ta’ Cikka Bar have 15 points, second placed Senglea Bocci Club A are on 14, while Billiards Hall A and St. Michael’s Bar A are joint third with 11 points.

In the first division top clash encounter Top Gun Bar A outclassed Taste Good Bar A 10-3 and are now sole leaders, three points ahead of Taste Good Bar.

After beating Senglea Bocci Club B 10-3 San Gwann Bocci Club A moved to third place eight points behind Top Gun Bar.

St. Vincent De Paule and Billiards Hall B both registered a 10-6 win against St. George’s Band Club and St. Michael’s Bar B respectively. In another game Anici Band Club and Cospicua Dynamos F.C ended in a 9-9 draw.

In the second division the following games were held:

Trust Pub A vs Espadon Bar A 7-10; Zejtun Red Stars vs BYE; Top Gun Bar B vs San Gwann Bocci Club B 8-10; Hamrun Liberty ASC vs Trendy Bar 10-2; Hibs Pavillion B vs San Gwann F.C 10-4.
