Five Premier League Players receive a one-match ban

Five Premier League players were yesterday banned one match each by the MFA’s Disciplinary Commissioner.

They are Birkirkara’s Saviour Darmanin, Floriana’s Christian Cassar, Marsaxlokk’s Andre Schembri, Sliema’s Brian Said and Valletta’s Jonathan Bondin.

They will all miss the coming weekend’s club clashes.

In the first division, Hamrun Spartans coach Michael Degiorgio was suspended for one year – up till 22 February 2006.

Two players in this division received a one-match ban. They are Philip Camilleri of Mosta and Heatcliff Schembri of St George’s.

Other players suspended one match were Louis Buhagiar and Stephen Callus of Attard, Victor Fiteni of Dingli, Eric Sciberras of Zebbug and Antoine Muscat of Xghajra T.
