Hamrun Spartans Michael Degiorgio is going to appeal against his one year suspension inflicted by the MFA Discinplinary Commissioner.

The ex-Hamrun and Malta international was suspended till 22 February 2006, following incidents erupted after the match between Hamrun Spartans and Mosta.

The match which was won by an Ives Bilocca goal scored in the early stages, was very tense with arguments on and off the field.

This defeat denied Hamrun from going to the top of Division One.
