The Malta Tennis Federation is once again taking part in the prestigious and world renowned Davis Cup.

The Men’s national team will be competing in Euro African Zone Group IV which is being held in Uganda between yesterday and Sunday. The team is made up of Daniel Ceross, Marcus Delicata and Malta’s junior champion Matthew Asciak.

The locals have been training hard in these last months under the careful eye of the national coach Dusan Janicijevic.

They are playing in Group B and face Moldova, Angola, Gabon, Benin and Botswana. The Maltese team shall be attempting to win promotion amid the stiff competition of the intriguing rubber against Moldova.
