Sliema Wanderers midfielder Joe Brincat and Floriana's Andre Rocha Da Silva will be missing important matches this weekend after both were handed a one-match ban by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner. Brincat will miss the game against Birkirkara while Da Silva will be absent in the City and suburban derby against Valletta. Gwann, and Mark Anthony Psaila of Mqabba were suspended one match each.

In Division two, Adrian Galea of Mellieha was suspended for two matches while Fabian Cutajar (Attard), Adriano Fenech and Daniel Gravina (Melita), Anthony Gera (St. Andrews), Charles Cachia and Robert Micallef (Vittoriosa) were all handed a one-match ban.

In the third division, Kevin Grima (Sirens) and Jesmar Joe Abela (Zejtun) were also suspended for one match.
