Hibernians extended their lead at the top to five points over second placed Birkirkara, while Mosta registered their fifth victory of the season in last Sunday's programme.
Hibernians had absolutely no difficulty beating Melita 7-1.
Early on, they had taken a 2-0 lead with goals from Dorianne Theuma and Sarah Caruana.
On 17 minutes, Caruana beat Zammit once again for a 3-0 score while Theuma scored the fourth on 31 minutes.
In the second half, Sarah Caruana added a fifth goal on 62 minutes, Tessie Agius scored the sixth and Kathleen Saliba scored another before Melita obtained their consolation goal through a Jackie Ellul Soler penalty.
In the other match, Mosta beat St Venera L. 4-1 with Jane Coates being the protagonist, scoring all the four goals for her team, two in each half.
St Venera scored their only goal on 65 minutes, when the score was 3-0. It was Odette Micallef who scored after a Mosta defensive lapse.

Sarah Caruana is the top scorer with 14 goals. She is followed by Kathleen Saliba on 13, Rebecca D'Agostino on 12, Dorianne Theuma and Jane Coates on 11.
