Joe Attard (picture) won the F & C Trophy at the Bidnija ranges at the weekend.

He finished with 131 targets, ahead of second placed Stanley Cardona on 130, third placed Frans Pace on 125. Fourth was Matthew Zammit on 121, fifth Nicky Carabott on 119 and sixth Anthony Bugeja, on 117.

Stanley Cardona had won Class A with 45 from 50, followed by Nicky Carabott and John Marmara.

Joe Attard had won Class B with 47, ahead of Robert Aquilina and Carmel Mallia, while Class C went to Matthew Zammit, who had 39 hits, ahead of Raymond Mizzi and Joe Gregory.

Stanley Cardona registered the only straight during the competition.
