Hibernians and Malta Under 21 striker Terence Scerri was suspended for two matches by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner yesterday.

He will be missing the important clashes against Sliema next Saturday and Birkirkara on 10 April.

Two other Premier League players were banned one match yesterday. They are Carlo Mamo of Marsaxlokk and Sliema defender Darren Debono, who also misses Saturday’s clash against Hibernians.

In the first division, Mqabba’s Martin Borg and Alex Hili, as well as Tyrone Ghirxi of Senglea, also received a one-match suspension.

Four players got a one-match ban in the second division. They are Dylan Agius of Gzira, James Tabone and Johann Scicluna, both of Qormi, and Andrew Hili of St Venera L.
