Maltacom – Safeguarding the customers’ rights

Malta Independent Sunday, 20 March 2005, 00:00 Last update: about 12 years ago

Maltacom once again celebrated World Consumer Rights Day, which falls on 15 March, with a varied programme of activities aimed at drawing awareness to the customer’s fundamental rights.

For the second consecutive year, executive management officials teamed up with the company’s customer care staff and actively participated in dealing with the requests and queries of customers at the company’s One-Stop Centre in Floriana.

A spokesman for the company confirmed: “The significance of this initiative is to promote direct contact between the company’s policy-makers and our customers – bringing them into close proximity with the consumer’s rights.”

Maltacom has just introduced [email protected] – a customer-focused initiative which is easily accessed through the Maltacom Group portal.

[email protected] invites customers to email their suggestions based on Maltacom’s various products and services and welcomes proposals for even better service.

A one-time sale of heavily discounted telecom products, formerly stocked by Allcom Ltd, began on Tuesday, 15 March – World Consumer Rights Day – at Maltacom’s One-Stop Centre in Floriana. The sale will continue as long as stocks last.

Maltacom said it would like to remind its clients that the latest update of their customer charter – the most effective medium for defending consumers’ rights – is available in the Maltacom Group portal – www.maltacom.com
