Today the Hockey fold will welcome Stralsund HC from Hamburg, Germany.

This will be the group’s second visit to the island. Their first trip to Malta was way back in 1997.

Stralsund will play two games, the first being on Friday against Young Stars Veterans at 7pm.

On Sunday they will cross sticks against a local selection of Veterans at 10am.

The average age of the teams will be 52 years and both matches will be played at the Kordin Hockey Complex.

The general public and particularly all hockey enthusiasts are encouraged to flock to watch the games.
