Valletta’s Sean Sullivan and Gilbert Agius are among five players who have received a one-match ban from the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner.

The two players will be missing the important match against Floriana next Saturday.

The others are Chris Okoh of Pieta Hotspurs and Roderick Bajada and Daniel Theuma, both of Msida St Joseph.

In the first division, Kurt Micallef of San Gwann received a six-month ban (till 19 October).

Five other players were banned for one match. They are Aaron Attard and Ryan Fenech of Hamrun Spartans, Ryan Bonnici and Darren Vella of Marsa and Edgar Degabriele of St George’s.

Meanhile, Chris Ellul of second division Qormi received a two-match ban, while Zebbug’s Bruce Genovese and Joseph Mallia, as well as L. Lagana of Vittoriosa Stars got a one-match suspension.

Franco Francalanza of Birzebbuga SP and Michael Ciappara of Ghaxaq were also suspended one match from the third division.
