This year’s San Michel teams tournament at the VLTC came to an end recently after three months of exciting tennis and great team spirit. All participants enjoyed playing in this popular tournament which acts as an ideal weekend breaker to all tennis enthusiasts during the winter months.

The tournament, which is sponsored by Simonds Farsons Cisk plc., was played on a round robin basis among six teams.

After two rounds, two semi-finals and a splendid final played on the Modelshop court at the VLTC, Anthony Sammut’s team prevailed over Rinaldo D’Alessandro’s team on games difference in a match tied on five sets all.

Vittoriosa Lawn Tennis Club thanked Simonds Farsons Cisk plc for having once more regaled VLTC members with the possibility of enjoying the popular San Michel tournament.
