Birkirkara received a setback to their hopes of a positive end to the season when they lost free striker Jean Pierre Mifsud Triganza through injury.

The former Floriana player broke a bone in his foot during a collision with team-mate Michael Galea during last Friday's match against Marsaxlokk.

The injury will rule him out for between four and six weeks. He should be back with the squad for the pre-season training.
