Air Malta came top among all European airlines as the airline least likely to lose its passengers’ luggage.
A survey by the Association of European Airlines said KLM and Lufthansa are more likely to lose their passengers’ luggage with 22.3 luggage mislaid per 1000 passengers (KLM) and 18.6 (Lufthansa). Air Malta loses only 2.9 while Alitalia loses 12.9, lower than the average 14.9.
British Airways loses 18.3, Air France 14.9 and Iberia 11.8.
