Avoid driving through the Msida Creek area unless necessary, warned the Msida Local Council on Thursday.

The Local Council issued this warning on social media due to rising water levels in the area as a result of heavy rainwater. It attached pictures illustrating the severity of the situation, with the water level reaching the top of vehicles’ wheels.

The Malta Meteorological Office issued an orange weather warning on Thursday, stating that thunderstorms will affect the Maltese Islands.
