Shooter William Chetcuti yesterday carried the Maltese flag at the Opening Ceremony of the Andorra Games, leading a 63-strong contingent from Malta.

This was the third time that Chetcuti carried the Maltese flag. He was also Malta’s flag bearer in the 2002 Commonwealth Games as well as in last year’s Athens Olympics.

In the Small Nations Games hosted by Malta two years ago, Chetcuti lit the torch during the opening ceremony.
