Representatives from the Olympics candidate cities for the 2012 Olympic Games are here in Andorra as observers.
The cities who have sent representatives are Paris, Madrid and New York.
Paris has sent the Director General of their bid Philippe Baudillon. He is accompanied by Armand de Rendinger.
Madrid's representative is Ruiz Alberto Gallardo who is heading a delegation of seven persons.
Daniel Doctoroff is the New York representative. He is accompanied by two persons.
Apart from the above, there are also some distinguished personalities attending the Games, among them Prince Albert of Monaco, who is now the new Regent of the Principality, after the recent demise of his father Prince Rainier. It is said that he still occupies the post of president of the Monaco Olympic Committee.
France has sent some government representatives. They are Philippe Massoni, Marie Claire Restou, Jean Francois Lamou from the Ministry of Youth and Sports and Valery Genniges, a member of the Diplomatic Corps.
Spain is also represented through Rafael Blanco, who is the country's director general of sports.
Also present are some sports ministers from the participating countries. They will be attending the meeting for sports ministers being held this week.
Malta is represented by Bertie Muscat and Lara Gerada from the Maltese Council for Sport. They are here in the name of Minister of Education, Dr Louis Galea, who is committed elsewhere this week.
