William Vella finished in seventh place in the air rifle competition.

William, son of Paul, the Skeet shooter who will be taking part in today’s event at the La Rabassa Ranges, qualified to take part in the final with a score of 562. In the final his score was a 94.3 and that accumulated to a grand total of 656.3.

The winner of the event was Oliver Geissmann of Liechtenstein who had a grand total of 688.4 points. This shows the progress of the Maltese youngster who has managed to close the gap considerably since two years ago.
