Emotions ran high during the final of the first Wilson Teams tournament organised by the Vittoriosa Lawn Tennis Club.

As expected, the encounters that mattered most came during the semi-finals and the final. In the semis, Suniel Balani’s team overcame Lino Scicluna’s team whilst Carmen Elden’s eliminated Pauline Muscat’s to earn a place in the final.

In an entertaining final played in front of a sizeable crowd at the Orienta Centre Court, Suniel Balani emerged the worthy winner despite stiff opposition coming from Carmen Elden’s team.

The Vittoriosa Lawn Tennis Club has entered into a merchandise agreement with Gordon Asciak, the representative in Malta of the Wilson brand.
