Intertoto: Valletta Earn 2-2 draw in Podgorica

Valletta bowed out of the Intertoto competition with a precious 2-2 draw in Podgorica against Buducnost, to go out 2-7 on aggregate.

Valletta lost heavily the first leg in Malta last week, but yesterday the Citizens obtained a very positive result.

Buducnost had a flying start and on the first minute they took the lead through Sekulic, who was Buducnost's hero seven days ago at the Hibs Ground when he scored a hat trick.

On 18 minutes Buducnost had their goalkeeper Vujadinovic sent off, when he tripped Agius inside the area and from the resultant penalty Massimo Grima equalised.

In the second half, Sekulic was again on mark to put Buducnost back in the lead on 63 minutes.

However Valletta obtained their second equaliser with ten minutes to go, when captain Gilbert Agius, who was returning to the side after missing the first leg
