Robert Gatt Takes 21-strong Hibs squad for Omonia match

Hibernians left Malta yesterday on their way to Nicosia where tomorrow, they will be facing Omonia in a first leg first qualifying round clash of the UEFA Cup.

Coach Robert Gatt has selected the following 21-strong squad to make the trip to Cyprus:

Goalkeepers: Mario Muscat; Michael Xuereb, Alex Camilleri

Defenders: Adrian Pulis; Aaron Xuereb; Ryan Mintoff; Edmond Agius; Ben Caruana; Jonathan Pearson; Julian Vella;

Midfielders: Essien Mbong; Peter Pullicino; Roderick Baldacchino; Kenneth Spiteri; Matthew Bartolo; Clayton Failla; David Camilleri;

Forwards: Andrew Cohen; Terence Scerri; Antoine Zahra; Haruna Doda.

The Paolites are expecting a tough match, but have high hopes on a positive performance which might also leave them hoping of making progress into the next round after the match in Malta in two weeks time.
