The netball season came to an end with yet another challenge between All Ages Eurochange and Fuego for the Supercup. As expected, the encounter turned out into another hard-fought game with All Ages attempting a treble whilst Fuego resolute not to end their season empty handed.

The match started on a balanced pace, however it was the All Ages side that enjoyed a slight lead midway through the game. Fuego intensified their efforts and by the end of the third quarter managed to put their noses in front by a single shot. In the last period of play, Fuego stepped up their game and with an assuring lead in hand they opted to administer their advantage by keeping ball possession. This tactic made All Ages loose their composure failing to overcome their four shot disadvantage.

Fuego thus prevailed with the score of 25 – 21 to make up for their season’s disappointment of missing out on the league title and the knock-out competition by winning the Super Cup.
