Local theatre group Aleateia is putting up a one-act version of their successful play Drowning Lilies tomorrow, Saturday and Sunday at 8pm, at the MITP theatre in St Christopher Street Valletta as part of Evenings on Campus 2005, SUPA (Summer University of Performing Arts).

The play tells the story of a pair of Siamese twins who were exploited by their mother as performers during the 1920s. The twins fall in love with the same man – Edmund Zanter – a minor American poet of the era. More information about the play plus samples of Zanter’s poetry can be obtained from the group’s recently updated website www.aleateia.com.

Evenings on Campus is organised by the Kooperattiva Kulturali Universitarja in collaboration with the University of Malta, the Malta Council for Culture and the Arts and the Manoel Theatre.
