Ex-Pieta and Birkirkara goalkeeper Saviour Darmanin has joined English side Vauxhall Motors, who play in the Northern League. This league is a division below the conference league, and is divided in the Northern and Southern leagues.

The team Vauxhall Motors plays in the Liverpool area. Blackpool were also interested in the Maltese goalkeeper but he opted for the Vauxhall side, who offered a more attractive package.

It is understood that Saviour Darmanin will travel to England in the week-ends to play for his new club.
