Moreover, optimum PC management results in a faster and more effective achievement of business goals,” said Ivo Camilleri, Head of IT Services at Bank of Valletta during the launch of an IT knowledge sharing programme for BOV employees.

During the seminar, which focused on Desktop Management Knowledge, employees were made aware of various “tricks and tips” they can perform in order to get the best out of the most complex piece of equipment one can find on the desktop – the personal computer.

Various members from the bank’s IT department gave presentations on selected topics related to efficient computer usage including effective resource sharing, computer security issues, improving PC performance and making the most of computer applications.
