Jill Attard of Sliema was the lucky winner of the weekend for two people at Le Méridien in Brussels, inclusive of flights.
The weekend break was the top prize for the Taste of Brussels promotion by Le Méridien Phoenicia at the Pegasus Brasserie. The prize was sponsored by Air Malta and Le Méridien in Brussels.
Le Méridien Phoenicia brought Belgium closer to Malta for a whole month. Executive head chef Andy Gaskin prepared a menu of Belgian specialities including fresh mussels prepared in Belgian beer served with French fries, mayo and mustard and Belgian chocolate desserts.
Le Méridien Phoenicia hotel manager Charles Azzopardi presented Mrs Attard and her husband with the vouchers for the trip at a champagne reception at the gazebo in the Phoenicia gardens.
