With the approach of September the customary summer break for fencing is gradually coming to a close.

The committee and members of the St. Paul Fencing Club are gearing up for the new and eventful season 2005/2006 which promises to be as successful and rewarding as in previous years.

A full training programme has been prepared for all the club members in preparation for the forthcoming competitive events at both club and national level; the first of which is scheduled for third week in October. It is also the club’s intention to participate in at least one international club event in Europe later in the season to expose our athletes to foreign opponents and to test their skills at a higher level.

For those interested in having an active lifestyle beginners courses for both children and adults will be organised by SPFC in the month of September. These courses are designed to promote fitness as well as learning the basic skills of this sport.
