Court: Nigerian Tries to use forged passport

A young Nigerian was sentenced to a year in prison yesterday, suspended for a year, after being found guilty of trying to make use of a false passport.

The 17-year-old was convicted of attempting to make use of a passport issued to another person. She was also found guilty of receiving this document and of making a false statement. She was given a one-year jail term suspended for a year.

Inspector Mario Haber prosecuted.
