Next Monday, Birkirkara Club Secretary John Borg will be attending another bi-annual plenary session of the European Club Forum to be held on 5 and 6 September at UEFA’s HQ in Nyon.

As chairman of the “Blue Group”, John Borg has just returned from the European Club Forum board meeting held in Monaco, in preparation for the forthcoming plenary meeting.

The main items on the agenda for next week are as follows:

50 years celebration of European Club Football; UEFA Cup centralisation - 2006/07;

Updates on UEFA Champions League; Update on UEFA Licensing system; Vision Europe; Memorandum of understanding – Clubs – UEFA; Role of agents.

This plenary meeting will be attended by representatives of 102 clubs from all over Europe.
