Vodafone Malta Limited has renewed its sponsorship of the Vittoriosa Vodafone Regatta Club. This will be the fourth consecutive year in which Vodafone will be supporting the club’s activities, including the forthcoming 8 September Regatta tal-Vittorja.

“We are delighted to continue our association with Vodafone. In the past this support has given us the opportunity to train young rowers and increase the number of races in which we compete. The continuation of this support will help us to further the development of our club and, for this, we would like to take this opportunity to thank Vodafone,” said Tony Callus, Treasurer of the Vittoriosa Vodafone Regatta Club.

“The 8 September Regatta is one of the most popular traditional events. It brings together numerous enthusiasts from across the island to watch and cheer for the boats racing in the Grand Harbour,” said Jinnie Cachia, Merchandising Executive at Vodafone Malta Limited. “We hope that Vodafone’s support to the Vittoriosa Vodafone Regatta Club encourages further participation in such national events.”

Six localities will be taking part in the traditional Regatta tal-Vittorja that will be taking place in the Grand Harbour on Thursday 8 September; these are Vittoriosa, Senglea, Cospicua, Kalkara, Marsamxett and Marsa.
