The Malta Marine Foundation (MMF) will be organising a Fund-raising/promotional campaign on Thursday.

The activity will be a Try Dive for people over the age of 12 who wish to try scuba diving for their first time for just one third of the normal price – a Lm4 donation.

The Try Dive will take place at the Exiles Sliema (weather permitting) between 9.30 am and 4pm. The money raised will go towards the Marine Environmental Projects that the MMF are currently undertaking.

A follow-up activity, also to be organised by the MMF, will be held on Wednesday 21 September 2005 at the IMAX theatre. This is also a fund-raising activity for the same aims and objectives of the MMF.

The documentary: Malta’s Heritage of the Deep, which will show some exclusive underwater footage of wartime shipwrecks that are found off the coast of Malta;

An exhibition about sharks;

James Cameron’s 3D Aliens of the Deep
