Valletta are expected to part company with their midfielder Milen Penchev who has been ruled out of action with a niggling knee injury for quite some time this seasn. It is still uncertain when Penchev, if he does, may return to full fitness.

In view of their precarious league position and run of poor results so far, Valletta, in all probability, will try to reach an agreement with their foreign player over the termination of his contract and relative compensation.

According to informed sources, Penchev’s replacement in the Valletta side is expected to be Nigerian Ndubisi Chukunyere, the former Hibernians player until last season.
