The Gozo Tourism Association has welcomed the introduction of a new Gozo ferry schedule for the winter season.

Without doubt, the new schedule is “substantially better” than the previous one, in particular the introduction of two night trips. This would be of great benefit to the Gozitan tourist industry and will fill up the gaps that existed in the early hours.

Another improvement is the introduction of more trips at the weekend or on the eve of a public holiday.

The new schedule is the fruit of discussions the association had with Gozo Channel chairman Joe Borg and the board of directors. The association said the company had heard the complaints put forward and acted to improve the

situation.
