Former Sliema, Valletta, St George’s and Malta goalie Ernest Barry has reached agreement with Floriana FC to become their goalkeepers’ coach.

Barry had also been in some form of talks with Birkirkara on resuming his playing career, despite being 38 years old. But the Stripes denied any interest.

However, it is now known that Naxxar Lions, of the first division, have also expressed some interest and it will be no surprise were Barry to play for the Lions this season.
