Six Premier League players have been suspended one match each by the MFA Disciplinary Commissioner.
They are Antoine Zahra (Birkirkara), David Carabott (Msida SJ), Daniel Theuma (Msida SJ), David Camenzuli (Pieta H.), Andrew Spiteri (Pieta H.) and Stefan Giglio (Sliema W.).
In the First Division, San Gwann were hard hit. Players Sandro Zammit Fava and Chris Cuschieri both received a one-match ban, but club coach Noel Coleiro was suspended for two matches.
Meanwhile, Frankie Muscat, coach of Second Division club Gzira United, has been suspended till 4 December while club player Kevin Naudi received a one-match ban. Also in the Second Division, Sandro Calleja of Vittoriosa Stars, received a one-match ban.
Two Third Division players were also suspended one match. They are Colin Gatt and Malcolm Psaila of Luqa SA.
