In a press release issued yesterday by the MFA,the President, Executive Committee and the Council of the MFA thanked all the supporters present at the National Stadium for the vocal backing they provided to our National teams during the Malta-Bulgaria matches on the 11th and 12th October 2005.

The Bank of Valletta, who have assisted in such a massive way to help the Maltese supporters provide an ideal atmosphere at the Stadium, came in for special mention. Appreciation also goes to the several Youth Nurseries and the Kunsill Studenti Universitarji for their part in boosting support for our players.

Thanks were also extended to the Police Force, General Soft Drinks Co. Ltd., the media for their build-up and coverage of these matches and Enzo Gusman, Benny & Tonia together with the other artists.

Last but not least, the Maltese players are heartily congratulated for their performances throughout the qualifying matches, as well as the coaches of the respective teams and their assistants.
