Last Night of the Valletta Military Tattoo today

The Malta Tourism Authority is organising the second edition of the spectacular Valletta Military Tattoo, as part of the Malta Historic Cities Festival, this evening at St George’s Square in Valletta.

The Military Tattoo will have three foreign military bands, namely the Pipes and Drums Band of the 1st Battalion The Black Watch (Royal Highland regiment), the South Yorkshire Police Band and the 3rd (Cadet) Battalion Royal Regiment of Wales.

Also taking part are the Armed Forces of Malta Band, the Malta Police Precision Drill Team and the Malta Police Band. Moreover, the event will include a youth marching band from the Czech Republic which comprises a number of majorettes, as well as pageantry and military drills by various re-enactment groups.

Tickets, at Lm5 for adults and Lm2.50 for children (aged between three and 12 years), will be on sale from the MTA ticketing booth at City Gate, Valletta. Tickets can also be purchased online. Go to www.maltafestivals.com for more details.
