‘Starboard’ the weekly nautical programme on TVM will be featuring a special edition on Saturday 21 October, during which a Live transmission of the start of the Rolex Middle Sea Race will be given. The two-hour transmission, which will go on air at 10.30 am, will be transmitted on both TVM and Channel 22 and will be covering each of the scheduled five starts, featuring the different classes of yachts represented on the Race. In the production of this programme five cameras are being used three of which will be stationed at vintage points on land while two others will be on different boats at sea.

The start of this 26th edition of the Rolex Middle Sea Race is expected to be a grand spectacle of classy boats and colourful sails considering that a record entry of sixty-six yachts from thirteen countries are taking part in this edition.

This special Rolex Middle Sea Race Live transmission will be presented by Teddie Borg, the producer of ‘Starboard’, who on this occasion will be assisted by Vikki Cutajar and Lucienne Salvaggi.
