The eight Malta Senior Open Championships are ongoing at the Eden SuperBowl, St. Julian’s, where close to 240 50yrs + bowlers from fifteen different countries are vying for the titles in the respective male and female divisions. After six round one games, Malta’s Doris Camilleri, is sitting in first place ahead of over 60 ladies who make up a very strong female field.

Powerful bowling nations such as Sweden in particular as well as Germany, England and Holland feature heavily in the high positions, but it’s Doris Camilleri, Senior Open Champions in 2003, who leads the way after bowling a brilliant 1258 set (209.6 average). The top four male and female bowlers will face off in thrilling finals tomorrow.
